This book was great for getting my 5th grader to understand about making change. He had to add up a meal check, figure sales tax, and get the total. Then he had to figure change based on the amount of money given for the check. I plan on getting the department store math book next (and maybe the market math) as these are great preparation for when he has to purchase his own food, clothes, etc.
