Love these flash cards! They have been very helpful to my 5 year old in kindergarten this year. The box says for ages 6 up but I prefer to be prepared and not delayed. I have also had my older children practice these flash cards as a 34;reminder34; (hello) for vowel usage on spelling tests; in addition to all of the different letter combinations that are spelled the same but pronounced differently (bread steak - mouse should - girl turtle etc.) Who made up the English language anyway? These could also be very helpful to children or people that do not use English as their first language. Great resource!

Looks excellent, great compare and contrast for homonym sounds spelled differently that makes English spelling and reading so tricky. And great activity cards and suggestions to deepen learning.
